Wild Hive

Navigating Life’s Wilderness

who are Wild Hive?

Wild Hive was created as a response to modern life.

Too much screen time. Too much noise. Too little movement, connection, and space to think. We wanted to build something different — a place and a platform that brings people together in the outdoors to reset, reconnect, and try something new.

Wild Hive is about real experiences. Getting outside. Meeting good people. Having proper conversations. Moving your body. Learning practical skills. Laughing a lot. Not taking yourself too seriously.

It’s not a retreat in the traditional sense, and it’s definitely not about fixing people. Wild Hive exists to create the right environment for growth to happen naturally — through shared experiences, adventure, and time away from the usual distractions.

Why We Created Wild Hive

Wild Hive was born from the belief that most people don’t need more information — they need better experiences.

We saw how powerful it can be when people step out of their normal routines and into nature, even for a short time. When phones go down, shoulders drop, and conversations start to flow. When people remember how good it feels to be present, challenged, and connected.

Wild Hive brings together carefully chosen hosts, coaches, and facilitators to create experiences that are accessible, welcoming, and genuinely enjoyable — whether that’s a one-day camp, a weekend gathering, or a multi-day experience.

What Wild Hive Stands For

At its core, Wild Hive stands for:

Connection — to nature, to others, and to yourself

Simplicity — stripping things back to what actually matters

Growth through experience — not lectures or pressure

Playfulness — learning, moving, and exploring with a smile

Community — bringing people together around shared values

Everything we do is designed to feel human, grounded, and real.

What You Can Expect

Wild Hive events vary, but they all share the same intention:

to help people step away from the noise of everyday life and return feeling clearer, lighter, and more energised.

You might find yourself surfing, hiking, training, sitting around a fire, breathing deeply, sharing food, or simply taking a moment to pause. No expectations. No egos. Just space to reset and reconnect.

Lloyd Cole

Owner / coach

Hi! I’m Lloyd and I’m the creator of Lost Boys. Life has presented me with many lessons that have led me to this point of founding the Lost Boys movement.

I’m 40 years young and one of 6 kids, a husband to an amazingly supportive wife and dad to an incredible son, Monty. If I had to describe myself I would say I am an adventurer, surfer, skateboarder, coach/mentor, a designer, and an entrepreneur.

I surfed competitively between the ages of 12 – 25 and pivoted into coaching and managing at the age of 25. I had 5 amazing years being head coach for Team GB alongside coaching and managing athletes for major surf brands. I loved my job; working out how to dial into each athlete. Supporting, teaching and guiding athletes to achieve their goals was so fulfilling and felt like my calling in life.

At the age of 30 with my son on his way into the world, I made the difficult decision to step away from the industry due to the time spent travelling and the instability of such a career.

I went head first into the world of business for the next 10 years of my life and the period of age 30-40 was without doubt the hardest years to date. I lost who I was, I felt empty, out of control and had no passion or goals that felt purposeful. Through the support of my wife and some amazing professionals I regained perspective of my life and dealt with issues from my past that I had been avoiding. I learned skills to help me control my thoughts, master my mindset, set purposeful goals and visualise and create my future.

These tools that I’ve been taught and have customised for myself I use daily as it’s a never-ending process. I love the processes and the feeling of control and optimism that they give me. This is the foundation for my exciting future.

Once I finally made the decision that things needed to change I dived head first into the path of self improvement. I went on retreats, explored breath work got myself a business/life coaching, received reiki and returned to Yoga.

When suggesting these tools to my friends they would look at me like I had 3 heads and was talking hippy language. That’s when I had the idea for Lost Boys. I started thinking about what would have appealed to me at the beginning of my journey and therefore would hopefully appeal to your average guy. I contemplated how the camp needed to look and feel, and what it needed to offer to appeal to men wanting to reset whilst have an amazing, life changing experience.

I really hope that you like what I’ve created alongside our professional hosts, incredible staff. At the Lost Boys campground you will be given the opportunity to press the reset button and learn some new skills to live better whilst having some fun and adventure along the way.
